Couples Tower Isle formerly Couples Ocho Rios to Unveil New Hotel within Historic Walls
Couples Resorts is pleased to announce plans for a US$25 million renovation of Jamaica’s first all-inclusive, couples only resort, Couples Tower Isle formerly Couples Ocho Rios. Nearly all areas of the 59 year old resort will be renovated as it is restored to its original Old World Jamaican charm, marrying tropical splendor with an updated, Grand Island style. The resort has closed and a new and improved Couples Tower Isle will be unveiled on December 15, 2008. Nearly every aspect of the resort from the lobby to the spa to restaurants and pool facilities will be renovated with contemporary upgrades to ensure the romance, refinement and quality that Couples Resorts’ savvy guests have come to expect.

Couples Swept Away, located on the famous Seven Mile Beach in Negril, is among the top one percent of all hotels and resorts in the world according to Expedia.  The resort received an overall score of 97.73 and was rated number 11 among 898 of the finest places to stay on the Expedia Insiders’ Select list for 2008.

Couples Resorts in Jamaica Receive Highest All-Inclusive Rating in 2008 Travel+Leisure World’s Best Awards
Couples Resorts has been rated as the best all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean by readers of Travel+Leisure magazine.  The prestigious “World’s Best Awards” placed Couples SweptAway as the top all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean.  Couples Negril placed a close second.  This marks the fourth consecutive year that at least one Couples Resort has received the magazine’s highest rating for an all-inclusive resort.
