For the past eight months Sandra, better known as Sandie, has been overseeing the Water Sports department as Water Sports manager.  Her position has enabled her to meet and interact with many of the guests but her most memorable experience has to be assisting a repeat guest in making a personal flag which is hoisted on the property during his annual visits.  Born and still residing in St. Ann, she enjoys spending quality time with her family.  Some of her favorites include Fendi perfume and curry goat and white rice.  Sandie says is she was stranded on a deserted island and only had three times to bring with her, she would bring water, food and matches.

Aldane Mullings
Couples Sans Souci

Known as Professor, this 22-year-old from Steer Town, Jamaica has been part of the Couples Sans Souci team for the past nine months. His friendly persona has been a great asset to the resort.  His responsibilities require him to handle guest queries, taking dinner reservations as well as booking tours and setting up additional packages and services.  Aldane appreciates the cadre of friendship he has developed which has helped him be more at ease and let him fully extend himself to the needs of guests.  His most memorable guest experience is the joyful feeling he gets when he is thanked profusely for assisting in making the vacation experience magical.  When not at work, he can be found hanging out with friends on the beach and clubbing.  Aldance says if he were stranded on a deserted island and could only bring one thing, he would bring a knife, a lighter and a good book to read.

Volkmar Weller
Couples Negril

Volkmar is making a difference in people’s lives daily at Couples Negril.  As the resort’s German Translator, Volkmar is responsible for assisting all German guests and otherwise.  He also assists with booking dinner reservations and taking care of guests’ queries and any problems they may encounter.  This 25-year-old from Apolda, Germany now resides in Negril and has been with the Couples team for the past ten months.  One of his favorite parts about working at Couples Resorts is the friendliness of his co-workers which helps create a happy environment as well as the excellently prepared meals and ocean view.  When not at work, Volkmar spends his time relaxing on the beach, playing the drums and hanging out with his Jamaican girlfriend.  Some of his favorites include pasta, listening to AC/DC and the movie Unbreakable with Bruce Willis.  If Volkmar were stranded on a deserted island, he would bring his girlfriend, his music system and a drum set.

Crefton Samuels
Couples Swept Away

For over a year now, Crefton, better known has Jah Cref, takes pleasure in his position as Dining Room Supervisor.  Some of his responsibilities include offering service of a five star resort, handling the monthly inventory, motivating fellow colleagues, distributing work between team members and most importantly, ensuring that each guest who visits the restaurants is content.  This 24-year-olds favorite part about working at Couples has to be meeting new guests and seeing repeat guests year after year.  Jah Cref recalls a time when a guest came to the restaurant and he found out it was her birthday.  He surprised her with a birthday cake and she and her husband were so thrilled they came back every night to eat at his restaurant.  When Crefton is not at work, you can find him watching TV or sleeping.  If he were stranded on a deserted island and could only bring three items with him, he would bring a cell phone, music and a TV.
