Greetings to All:

I had every intention of finishing this letter by January 15th. I planned on writing about the fantastic year Couples Resorts enjoyed in 2006. After all.

In Travel + Leisure magazine's annual "World's Best Awards", readers voted Couples Swept Away and Couples Sans Souci not only in the top 500 hotels in the world, not only in the top 25 hotels in the Caribbean, Bermuda and Bahamas, but also as the top all-inclusive resorts in the world.

Couples Resorts also swept the top spots in Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards. According to their poll, Couples Swept Away, Couples Negril and Couples Ocho Rios are the highest ranked all-inclusives in the Caribbean and among the Top 15 resorts in the region overall.

Couples Sans Souci received the AAA Four Diamond designation for 2007 for the 8th consecutive year. The American Automobile Association Four Diamond award is one of the premier designations any resort can attain.

And finally, TripAdvisor's prestigious "Travelers' Choice Awards" ranked Couples Sans Souci and Couples Negril as the highest ranking for luxury among Caribbean all-inclusive resorts.

Then came a fun-filled weekend at Couples Swept Away and Couples Negril over New Year's, where I met so many wonderful repeat guests, including Tom and Jane Sage, repeat guests since 1990 when Swept Away first opened. Tom and Jane stayed at CSA for 30 days this time, and their beachfront suite was appropriately outfitted with Christmas lights, tree, and stockings hung with care.

Next it was time for Couples Sans Souci's 1st and Couples Ocho Rios' 29th anniversaries. After dozens of emails and phone conversations, it was here that I finally met Diane Pollard, multi-time repeater and integral driver of the ISSA TRUST FOUNDATION fundraising efforts. I also had the privilege of speaking to Gene and Jane Saks (67 time repeaters) and Alan and Josie Kline who spearheaded another successful charity golf tournament raising over $J1.3 million. Thanks also to the tireless efforts of our own Alex Ghisays.

And now the new brochure is in stock, the Romance Rewards loyalty program has been launched and I am told our new arrival lounge at MBJ is now open. Lastly, details of our special promotion called "Fall in Love Again" will be announced on March 1, 2007.
