What moment, sight or sound gets you…
How do we choose from all the wonderful moments, sights and sounds that guests have shared on the bulletin boards? It’s not an easy job, but somebody has to do it. This time, as 2005 turns in to 2006 we take a look back to the beginning of ‘05 and pull from the ‘return of the thread’, which began in January 2005, “Moments, Sights and Sounds Returns.”
The sunrise at COR...when the dock and the island turn pink just before the sun comes over the hill.

I remember sitting on our large porch, watching the beautiful sunset. The clouds on the horizon reflected the liquid flame of the setting sun. The gold turned to orange, which slowly faded into a purple dark. I turned to my wife, kissed her, and just felt completely at peace.

Seeing the resort from the air on the flight from Montego Bay and tingling with anticipation...
The first taste of the Blue Mountain coffee at breakfast...
Having Shawn, the bartender on the island, smile and ask "Uncle Tippy, what to drink?"...
The smile on my wife's face when she's called "My lady"...

Time to leave CN and then this happens…
Members of the WILD BUNCH meeting in the lobby to see us off…
Hugs ,tears, sadness and lumps in your throat BUT we met the GREATEST people the world has to offer. Sitting in the GOODBYE bus and watching my buddies wave goodbye as we leave... VERY VERY SAD.

Scuba diving in water clear enough to see 90' down and warm enough to not need a wet suit. Rotating my beach chair to stay in the sun and views of my feet with sand sticking to them. My biggest concern is trying to drink my Red Stripe while not having to put my book down. Late night skinny dip in the ocean and all the fun that goes with it. Blue Mountain coffee that starts a day with no schedule or specific goal... just being together. Not talking on the phone, reading a newspaper or checking email for 12 whole days. Not speaking a word of work or things needed to be done around the house. The smell of ocean air and jerk chicken mixed with tanning oil.
Giving thanks for being blessed enough to have a paradise like Jamaica be our second home.
-Ashley
