From the Desk of Randy Russell
Chief Romance Officer and Senior Vice President
– Sales & Marketing

Greetings to All,

Before turning our eyes toward 2006, we wish to thank our first-time “newbies” and our Valued Repeat Guests for making 2005 one of the most successful in Couples Resorts storied history.

The purchase of Sans Souci Resort & Spa in September, gives us 148 more reasons to celebrate. Situated on 35 acres, Couples Sans Souci “The Jewel of Jamaica” is positioned to grow even more.

Your faith in us has given us the confidence and motivation to grow the company by adding more rooms and facilities at Couples Swept Away. Although weather set us back some, we anticipate full operation of all the facilities by early to Mid-April, 2006. Couples Resorts will then operate a total of 900 rooms between our four resorts, a 35% increase since 2003.

With growth comes the opportunity to strengthen our company by promoting deserving people from within our organization. Please join us in congratulating the following well-deserved promotions.

Glenn Lawrence - Chief Executive Officer
Gary Stephens – Vice President of Hotel Operations
Leonard Henry – General Manager, Couples Ocho Rios
Ivonna Szelerska – Director of Sales and E-Communications

If we had an applause sign, it would be lit right now!

I read the Couples Message Board several times each day and I continue to be impressed by the lasting friendships you have made with our staff and other Couples Resorts guests. We truly value your willingness to share your experiences with other potential guests. Your wisdom, creativity, and devotion mean more to us than you can know. You inspire us to ask ourselves, “What can we do to make Couples Resorts even better?”

The idea of creating a non-profit organization to help Jamaicans in need arose out of this self-questioning process. Issa Trust Foundation already made an impact in the lives of dozens of Jamaicans and we are dedicated to continue to increase contributions to this worthy cause.

On a lighter side, we introduced the personalized novel “Jamaican Rendezvous” and we know several of you purchased the novel as a Holiday gift. We are finding many more of you interested giving it to a loved one for Valentines Day.

Because of your tremendous support, our future remains bright and full of promise. We look forward to welcoming you home again soon!

We look forward to your continued support and friendship.

Luv n Life,

Randymon
