What’s Happening At Couples Resorts
2005 is off to a great start as we begin the second quarter of the year. The dates are set for our second annual Tennis Fantasy Camp, programs are in place for Spa & Fitness Month in May and we’re about to launch a new and improved loyalty program for you. A sneak preview of all this and more is compiled below, so read on to find out about the fabulous programs planned as the year continues.

Couples Swept Away Tennis Fantasy Camp
After a successful premier of Couples Resorts’ first Tennis Fantasy Camp, the dates are now set for a rematch. The 2nd Annual Tennis Fantasy Camp will take place October 6-9, 2005 at Couples Swept Away in Negril, Jamaica.

Swept Away will lure back celebrity tennis pros Luke Jensen and Brenda Schultz-McCarthy after their participation in the first camp, which took place in January of this year. Luke’s brother, Murphy Jensen will join them, as well as tennis expert Lori McNeil. The foursome will be at the resort throughout the weekend providing opportunities to watch, learn and play tennis at Swept Away’s first-class 10-acre sport complex.

May is Spa & Fitness Month at Couples Swept Away. So what better way to motivate yourself then a vacation? A full schedule of classes and workshops are planned for the month-long celebration and are offered at no additional cost to guests at the resort. A different visiting instructor from the top of their respective fields will be onsite offering classes each week at the resort’s 10-acre sport complex. Personnel Announcement
After nearly two years with Couples Resorts as Sales and Marketing Communications Manager, Melissa Trench has been named Director of Marketing in our Miami headquarters. In this new role she will serve as a liaison between Couples Resorts and our primary tour operators and marketing partners. She will be responsible for overseeing the advertising and public relations initiatives as well as marketing finances. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Trench graduated from Boston College in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Finance and currently resides in Miami, Florida. Congratulations Melissa!
