Couples Resorts Announces New LoveAway Plansm

Since Couples Resorts understands now may not be the easiest time for couples to commit to spending a lot of money; this March, Couples Resorts has launched a new layaway plan for love that helps couples plan the romantic vacation they need. The LoveAway Plansm offers couples the chance to make smaller payments each month towards their vacation, until final payment is due 45 days before leaving for their romantic getaway. Couples Resorts hopes this will ease the financial strain of paying for a vacation all at one time.

Couples Resorts Gives Couples a Second Chance to "Fall in Love Again"
Couples Resorts has extended the company's "Fall in Love Again" promotion, complete with value added initiatives at all four properties. The promotion continues to offer savings of up to 50% per couple for all Couples Resorts properties. Prices begin as low as $298 per couple per night. In addition to those savings, Couples Resorts is giving $350 in spa credit AND $150 in gift shop credit to couples who book stays of seven nights or more at Couples Tower Isle and Couples Sans Souci. A $175 spa credit and $75 gift shop credit will be given to those staying at Couples Swept Away and Couples Negril. To take advantage of these promotions, couples must book before April 30 for travel between April 12 and December 25, 2009. For more information, visit www.couples.com/04special.htm.

Chef at Couples Swept Away Wins 2009 Culinary Challenge
Chef Anthony Miller of Couples Swept Away tied for a first place award in the "Seafood from Norway, Culinary Challenge 2009," held in February 17. The Norwegian Seafood Export Council hosted this inaugural challenge in Kingston, Jamaica, between the island's 10 leading chefs. Miller's dish, a sugar cane skewered saltfish with sweet potato escoveitch and wilted spinach, beat nine of the island's leading chefs in the categories of creativity, taste and presentation. In addition to a medal and trophy, Anthony Miller won an all-expenses paid trip to Norway and a cash prize. Couples Resorts' Modernizes Room Amenities
Starting in March, all four of the Couples Resorts properties in Negril and Ocho Rios have added ipod/MP3 docking stations to their rooms. These stations allow couples to create a more personalized soundtrack during their romantic escape. The docking stations also double as an alarm clock, letting couples wake to their favorite tune. Another feature of the new amenity is Hi Fi sound, ipod playback and charge, wireless remotes and AM/FM radios.
